Get ready for nine days of unforgettable experiences across Germany, Czechia, Austria, and Hungary — where every moment is steeped in history, culture, and connection.
Your journey includes a walk along the Berlin Wall with a local historian, guided tours of Prague’s Old Town and Vienna’s legendary Naschmarkt, and time to unwind in Budapest’s thermal baths. With a welcoming LGBTQ+ group and plenty of free time to explore at your own pace, this isn’t just a European getaway — it’s a meaningful immersion into art, resilience, and queer community.
🏙️ Days 1–2: Berlin – History, Art & LGBTQ+ Culture
Arrive in Germany’s bold and dynamic capital. Settle in and meet your group at the welcome meeting. Explore Berlin with an orientation walk, then dive into its powerful past with a private tour along the Berlin Wall led by a historian.
Optional activities include visits to the East Side Gallery, Brandenburg Gate, and Checkpoint Charlie.

🛤️ Days 3–4: Prague – Medieval Charm & Free Time
Travel to Prague and get to know this storybook city with a guided walking tour of the Old Town, Charles Bridge, and Jewish Quarter. The following day is all yours to explore Prague’s castles, cathedrals, beer gardens, or riverside cafés at your own pace.

🏰 Day 5: Český Krumlov – Fairytale Bohemia
Head into the Bohemian countryside and explore the enchanting town of Český Krumlov, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander cobbled lanes, enjoy riverside views, or opt to tour the impressive castle grounds.

Travel to Hungary by train and enjoy an orientation walk through Budapest’s historic core. Visit the Nem Adom Fel Café, a G for Good project supporting disability and Roma communities. Then, relax in the city’s iconic thermal baths, stroll the Danube, or hit the ruin bars.

After our Central Europe Adventure, we’re planning an optional self-booked extension to witness the Total Solar Eclipse in León, Spain — right on the centerline of totality! 🌑✨
We’ll fly from Budapest to Madrid on August 11, stay near the airport, and take the high-speed train to León on August 12 to experience about 1 minute 55 seconds of total darkness as the Sun is completely covered.
Trains will be booked about 90 days prior via Renfe.com, and we’ll share full details closer to the trip.
A cancelable rental van will also be reserved as a backup.
