Hey there! I’m Chris, your Chief Adventure Officer here at Pride Adventures. My journey into LGBTQ+ travel began around a campfire in Yosemite, where a simple camping trip sparked the idea for what eventually became California Gay Adventures (CGA). Since then, it’s grown into something much bigger — a global community of queer adventurers exploring the world together.

I was raised in a conservative Mormon family in Mesa, Arizona, came out at 21, and spent years working in gay media, nightlife, and corporate marketing. But my heart has always belonged to travel and community. That’s why I created Pride Adventures — to connect LGBTQ+ travelers through shared experiences in amazing destinations.

I’ve led trips to Costa Rica, Southeast Asia, the Yucatán, and beyond. Whether we’re hiking glaciers in Iceland or sailing through the Galápagos, I’m here to help make your next trip unforgettable.

I specialize in custom travel planning, luxury experiences, and seamless group coordination — whether it’s an adventure in the wild or a high-end getaway. Zenzi Poindexter

Trip Host, Pride Adventures

Hi, I’m Zenzi, she/her, one of your trip hosts here at Pride Adventures.

We’re thrilled to introduce Zenzi Poindexter (she/her) as one of our Pride Adventures trip hosts. A self-described travel junkie with her toiletry bag stocked and carry-on always ready, Zenzi is a native Californian who has lived across the United States as well as in Zimbabwe, Spain, and Mexico, and now calls Southern California home.

She has visited more than 100 countries and all seven continents, yet her love of travel continues to grow, especially when it comes to Latin America, East Asia, and any beach, anywhere. Zenzi brings a deep appreciation for street art, historical and folk murals, local artisans, night markets, street food, unique architecture, and the stories that make each destination come alive.

Beyond travel, she is a dog mama, avid gardener, dance enthusiast, and advocate for helping unhoused people find safety and stability. Her belief that travel opens both the eyes and the heart beautifully reflects the spirit of Pride Adventures, and we’re excited for our travelers to experience the world alongside her.

Shannon Brown

Hi, I’m Shannon, x/she, one of your trip hosts here at Pride Adventures.

We’re excited to introduce Shannon Brown (x/she) as one of our Pride Adventures trip hosts. Shannon has a deep love for places with rugged beauty and a strong spirit of adventure, especially Scotland and Alaska.

Raised by a father who traveled the world and a mother who nurtured a deep appreciation for culture and the arts, Shannon grew up in a home filled with people from around the globe, sparking a lifelong love of connection, discovery, and meaningful travel. One of the things Shannon loves most about exploring the world is finding queer community wherever she goes and building friendships across cultures and destinations.

Professionally, Shannon owns an LGBTQ+ therapy practice and founded an LGBTQ+ nonprofit, dedicating much of her life to supporting and uplifting queer people. When Shannon is not working, she is usually planning her next adventure, happiest when discovering new places across the U.S. and around the world. Shannon’s warmth, purpose, and love of community beautifully reflect the spirit of Pride Adventures.

Myles Sexton

Hi, I’m Myles, they/them, one of your featured trip hosts here at Pride Adventures.

Pride Adventures is excited to welcome Myles Sexton (they/them) as one of our featured trip hosts. Myles is a multi-talented Creative Director, Stylist, Makeup Artist, activist, and queer fashion nomad whose creativity, global perspective, and sense of adventure align beautifully with our mission to create more inclusive and safer travel experiences.

Known for their impactful work as an HIV/AIDS and sobriety activist, Myles brings a unique perspective, vibrant energy, and deep commitment to visibility, creativity, and community. Myles is also a prominent TV personality and the engaging host of the acclaimed podcast Our Private Bits.

Having visited 21 countries so far, Myles is passionate about helping create travel experiences rooted in the belief that everyone deserves the chance to see the world.
