Pride Adventures 9 day Belize & Guatemala trip was a great value. Very well organized for a first time traveler. Group leader gave excellent instructions. One of the benefits is choosing excursions to fit your needs. It was an terrific opportunity to meet like minded men from near and far. Highlights of the trip a visit to Tikal Mayan pyramids. Cave tubing, and incredible coral reef snorkeling. Visiting with the locals. Taking in the food and culture. I would definitely recommend Pride adventures for your next trip.

I took my first International Trip with Pride Adventures in June 2025 and was very impressed with the communication both pre-trip and during our adventure. I joined a group of 13 other guys and went on a 13-day trip from Cape Town South Africa to Victoria Falls. For the travellers who were interested, we met a month prior to departure. In addition, we had a Zoom call to answer any last minute questions we had. I appreciated both of those opportunities because for me, anticipation of the trip added to the enjoyment.

Most travel has some unexpected surprises and when something would come up that impacted the trip, both Chis, the local guides, and others with Pride Adventures were there to help and problem-solve. It was also great to meet some folks on the trip as we toured S. Africa. There is a possibility we may explore future adventures together.

The actual experience in Africa was amazing. The number and wide variety of the wildlife exceeded my expectations. Here are a few pictures from trip in June 2025. By-the-way, I think my group was 20 feet away from the lion in picture. Wow.

If there is a location in the world you are considering exploring but would like to do so with an LGBTQ-friendly group, I would certainly recommend you consider Pride Adventures.

Pride adventure travel was incredibly easy to book with. From the beginning the information was clear and there was no question the type of adventure I would be going on. Chris, the host, was welcoming and immediately facilitated a sense of community among the group. I was a first timer and didn’t really know anyone , but immediately felt comfortable. The itinerary and guide were top-notch. Nick, our guide, was very knowledgeable and had several adventures waiting us for us every day. The trip was busy and fulfilling, but not overwhelming. I highly recommend traveling with pride adventures and can’t wait until my next adventure with them.

Pride Adventures has been a wonderful travel partner, and we love using them for our plans! Chris and the crew have amazing attention to detail, communication and updates, and they make sure everything is lovely for engaging!
We did an excursion with Pride Adventures in San Diego, and it was PERFECT! There were fun events planned throughout the itinerary that we could opt into. And, when the hotel had a hiccup with our check-in, Chris handled it immediately and even got me a room upgrade!
We're already looking forward to our next adventure!

Chris, kevin and whole team is incredible at what they do. I have attended a few rafting, glamping, camping and hiking events and they all have been very fun. They are very welcoming to newcomers. These events helped me make new friends while having tremendously adventurous time with those people.

I did an extended weekend stay at an Airbnb and enjoy boating on Lake Havasu in 2023. This was my first trip with CGA. That said, I have known Chris Smith as a businessman and personal friend for 20 years. I knew when booking this trip I could count on the information being shared with me as being factual and reliable. I enjoyed the trip completely. I was also very impressed that the cost estimate shared with me, inclusive of food and gas was well planned out and accurate. I have yet to do my second trip with CGA… Living in another state and just life obligations. However, I look forward to when that next trip is scheduled.

Chris Smith led a fantastic trip to Costa Rica… His excellent planning and use of local talent meant great experiences- Zip line through the forest, challenging white water rafting., beautiful snorkeling, thrilling ATV ride,, swimming in pools, the ocean and in waterfalls, hiking in nature trails. I’ve traveled around the world and done many yoga and men’s retreats, and this experience was one of the best. Fun summer camp with two dozen great guys. I trust Chris to organize any trip and to deal with any problems, efficiently and with a sense of humor. I feel renewed.

Who are Pride Adventures trips for?

Pride Adventures trips are designed for LGBTQ+ travelers looking for connection, community, and unforgettable experiences. Some trips are created for the broader LGBTQ+ community, while others may be tailored more specifically to certain audiences, such as gay men, lesbians, or other identity based groups. Each trip page will clearly explain who the trip is designed for.

Can solo travelers join?

Absolutely. Many of our travelers join solo, and creating space for connection is a core part of what we do. We also welcome couples and friends traveling together. Pride Adventures trips are designed to feel social, welcoming, and easy to join, whether you are coming on your own or with someone else.

Are trips hosted?

Many Pride Adventures trips include a Pride Adventures host who helps create connections, answer questions, and support the group experience along the way. Some trips may also include local guides or destination experts, depending on the itinerary. Each trip page will explain what kind of hosting and support is included.

What is included in the trip?

Inclusions vary by trip, but each trip page outlines accommodations, activities, meals, and other important details so travelers know what to expect before booking.

What are the group sizes like?

Pride Adventures focuses on small group travel. Most of our hosted trips typically range from 8 to 16 travelers, although group size can vary depending on the trip. Some hiking trips and trips that require permits may have lower maximums, while certain resort stays, cruises, or custom experiences may allow for larger groups.

UPDATE (April 2026): Just returned from Japan and it was another amazing experience with Travel Adventures. We visited incredible cities like Kyoto, Hiroshima, and Tokyo, as well as beautiful islands like Miyajima. The trip included iconic temples such as Sensō-ji and a variety of activities that gave us a true sense of Japanese culture. Everything was incredibly well organized. Travel Adventures covered entrances, local trains, and transportation, which made exploring effortless and stress-free. Their attention to detail and thoughtful planning made this trip unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to experience Japan in a seamless and memorable way. COSTA RICA Traveling to Costa Rica with Pride Adventure Travel was unforgettable. From the moment the trip started, everything was full of energy, adventure, and joy. The activities were incredible, riding ATVs through beautiful landscapes, ziplining over the rainforest (such an adrenaline rush!), hiking near the stunning Arenal Volcano, and relaxing in natural hot springs. The organization was flawless, but what made it truly special was the community they created. Everyone felt welcomed, celebrated, and part of something amazing. I made real connections and memories I’ll carry with me forever. If you’re even thinking about it, do it! I can’t recommend Pride Adventure Travel enough. It was pura vida in every sense of the word!

I had a great experience traveling in Japan with Pride Adventures! The trip offered a good range of group activities balanced with some free time to explore on our own. The itinerary was energizing without being exhausting, and there was something for everyone—my personal favorites included staying overnight in a Buddhist temple in Koyasan, a traditional tea ceremony and calligraphy lesson on Miyajima island, and hiking to the top of Mt. Misen. The trip was extremely well organized. Our Pride Adventures host was always available to help, and he kept the vibe easygoing and fun. We also had a local guide who took time to get to know about us and our interests; he answered my questions about Japanese language and culture and even told me where I could go in Tokyo to capture the spirit of a Japanese TV show I love. This was a fantastic trip. I did so many fun and exciting adventures and met a lot of great people. Our guides were friendly and helpful and I think everyone had a wonderful time. The accommodations were also quite nice. I enjoyed myself so much that I have signed up for two more trips this year and one next year. I just returned from the Iceland trip. This was a fantastic vacation getaway. We had a first rate guide and we did all sorts of fantastic outdoor activities. My favorite was hiking on a glacier. But we also saw a lot of waterfalls, lava fields, geysers, extra extraordinary, natural wonders, but we also went to museums, sheep farms And geothermal Hot Springs. We stayed in a nice accommodations and I am doing two more vacation getaways with this group.
