Hi, I’m Chris, and I created Pride Adventure Travel because I believe travel is more than just visiting new places—it’s about experiencing the world together and building meaningful connections. Now, we’re looking for your help to shape our future adventures. We’ve got some incredible trips in the works, and we want your input on where we should go next. Euro-Pride Adventure: Berlin & Amsterdam
Picture yourself dancing in the streets of Berlin during one of the most iconic Pride celebrations in the world. Then, hop on a train to Amsterdam to continue the festivities along the city’s scenic canals. But this adventure isn’t just about Pride—we’ll also explore some of Europe’s most important landmarks. From castles to historical sites, this trip will blend the excitement of Pride with rich cultural experiences, creating a truly unique journey. Late July and early August never felt more vibrant.
Egypt & Jordan: From the Nile to the Valley of the Kings
Have you ever dreamed of standing before the towering pyramids of Giza or sailing down the legendary Nile River? This adventure takes you through the heart of Egypt, where we’ll explore the bustling streets of Cairo, sail along the majestic Nile, and visit temples that seem to leap from the pages of history. We’ll also journey to the awe-inspiring Valley of the Gods before crossing into Jordan to experience the breathtaking beauty of Petra. Please note, we are carefully monitoring current geopolitical issues to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip for all participants.
Sailing the Philippines: Catamaran in Paradise
Picture this: a group of 10-12 gay adventurers aboard a luxurious catamaran, sailing through the magical islands of Palawan for five days and four nights. As we explore hidden coves and vibrant reefs, a dedicated team will take care of our needs, providing kayaks, paddleboards, and everything we need for an unforgettable tropical adventure. This trip will be all about bonding with your fellow travelers, surrounded by the stunning beauty of the Philippines’ pristine waters and lush islands.
Colombia: The Lost City Trek
This adventure is perfect for those seeking a bucket-list experience. The Lost City Trek in Colombia is a 44–48 kilometer (28–30 mile) round trip hike that takes place over 3–5 days. The trek begins in the town of Mamey and leads you through lush jungles and river crossings until you reach the ancient ruins of Teyuna. The final step is a climb of 1,200 stone steps, built around 800 AD, leading to the breathtaking Lost City itself. This journey offers a heart-pounding challenge, but with a relaxed pace that allows for full immersion in the beauty and history of the region.
China & Japan: A Two-Week Cultural Journey
Our China and Japan adventure is a journey through time, from ancient empires to modern metropolises. In China, we’ll explore the Great Wall, the Terracotta Warriors, the Forbidden City, and much more, with stops in Beijing, Xi’an, Suzhou, and Shanghai. In Japan, we’ll see the beauty of Mt. Fuji up close and visit iconic cities like Osaka, Hiroshima, Kyoto, and Tokyo. Whether you’re fascinated by history, culture, or natural beauty, this trip promises a bit of everything.
Winter Escape: Zermatt & Prague
If a cozy winter escape sounds appealing, join us for an intimate adventure in Zermatt, Switzerland, nestled at the base of the majestic Matterhorn. With a small group of 8-10 people, we’ll spend our days skiing or relaxing in the alpine charm of Zermatt before heading to Prague for a magical post-trip experience. This small-group adventure is perfect for those looking to mix winter sports with rich cultural exploration.
Domestic Adventures: Explore Closer to Home
In addition to our international journeys, we love planning domestic adventures that are perfect for long weekends or weeklong getaways. These are some of the ideas we’re considering from our poll, and we typically choose 2-3 domestic trips each year for our group to experience. Here are some of the options:
- Yellowstone & Glacier National Park: Explore two of America’s most iconic national parks, with stunning wildlife, breathtaking landscapes, and outdoor adventures.
- Long Weekend in Hawaii: Spend a long weekend on the beautiful island of Maui, with optional extensions to Oahu and Kauai for even more tropical beauty.
- Broadway Weekend in New York: Not all adventures are in the great outdoors! Let’s experience the excitement of New York together with a weekend filled with Broadway shows, sightseeing, and the vibrant LGBTQ+ culture of the Big Apple.
- Whidbey Island, Washington: For nature lovers, Whidbey Island is a paradise, offering hikes, beach walks, and outdoor activities. We may also venture into Olympic National Forest.
- Grand Canyon River Rafting: Imagine three days of rafting through the lower Grand Canyon, camping under the stars, and experiencing one of the most breathtaking natural wonders in the world.
- Holiday Weekend in Provincetown, MA: Enjoy the beaches, nightlife, and charm of Provincetown with a holiday weekend getaway to one of the East Coast’s most beloved LGBTQ+ destinations.
