Our Canadian Rockies with Pride adventure brought together an amazing group of LGBTQ+ travelers for eight days of hiking, camping, and connection in one of the most breathtaking regions on Earth. From the dramatic peaks and turquoise lakes of Waterton, Kananaskis, and Banff to the iconic beauty of Lake Louise and the emerald waters of Yoho National Park, we explored trails, summited mountains, and even floated down the Bow River. Along the way we shared campfires, laughter, and unforgettable moments surrounded by glacier-fed lakes, alpine meadows, and endless mountain views — a Pride Adventure we’ll never forget. 🏞️🌈✨
Southern Africa with Pride! Capetown to Victoria Falls
Our two-week Pride Adventures journey through Southern Africa brought together 26 travelers for an unforgettable exploration of the region’s beauty, history, and wildlife. From the vibrant energy of Cape Town to thrilling safaris in Kruger National Park and Korangwe Private Game Reserve, we immersed ourselves in the wonders of nature. In Johannesburg and Soweto, we connected with the powerful history of the uprising, visited Nelson Mandela’s home, and heard stories that will stay with us forever. Crossing into Zimbabwe, we witnessed the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls, enjoyed a luxury river cruise, and continued on to Botswana’s Chobe National Park, where elephants seemed to appear at every turn. We wrapped up in Zambia, experiencing the falls from yet another breathtaking perspective. This Pride Adventure was filled with epic wildlife encounters, cultural connections, and lifelong memories — a true journey of pride and discovery. 🌍✨
Puerto Vallarta Pride with CGA & Pride Adventures

Pride Adventures, along with CGA – California Gay Adventures, lit up Puerto Vallarta for an electrifying Pride getaway in May 2025. Over an action-packed weekend, the group marched joyfully in the vibrant Pride Parade, soared through jungle canopies on zip lines, and unleashed their wild side on thrilling ATV rides and skydiving drops. Nights were filled with rooftop gatherings, shared dinners, and dazzling shows like Rhythms of the Night, while sunny days ended with a blissful catamaran cruise along the sparkling Pacific. This journey wasn’t just about adventure—it was about community, celebration, and embracing the freedom to live and love proudly in one of Mexico’s most iconic LGBTQ+ destinations.
Costa Rica with CGA & Pride

Pride Adventures, along with CGA – California Gay Adventures, ventured into the lush heart of Costa Rica for an unforgettable tropical escape. Over exhilarating days, the group trekked through vibrant rainforests, discovered hidden waterfalls, and tackled thrilling whitewater rapids that tested both courage and camaraderie. From spotting playful monkeys and colorful toucans to sharing laughter and heartfelt conversations, every moment was a celebration of nature’s wonders and the joy of being proudly LGBTQ+. This journey wasn’t just about adventure—it was about connection, authenticity, and embracing the wild beauty of one of the world’s most breathtaking destinations together.

SE Asia with California Gay Adventures
Join your host, Chris Smith, on an incredible 20+ day gay travel adventure through Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand, where he guided 23 gay men from California Gay Adventures on a journey of discovery, camaraderie, and unforgettable experiences. From the lively streets of Saigon to the peaceful temples of Angkor Wat, every moment was a celebration of vibrant culture, meaningful connections, and the thrill of adventure. This journey was more than just travel—it was about embracing new experiences, forging lasting friendships, and exploring the beauty of Southeast Asia together.
The Inca Trail with CGA & PRIDE!
California Gay Adventures (CGA) took on the legendary Inca Trail in Peru for the ultimate adventure. Over four challenging days, the group hiked 27 miles, climbed more than 6,000 feet in elevation, and reached breathtaking heights of over 13,500 feet above sea level. From the rugged mountain paths to the mystical ruins of the Andes, they pushed themselves physically and mentally, overcoming every challenge along the way. The journey was not just about endurance—it was about camaraderie, perseverance, and experiencing the magic of one of the world’s most iconic trails together.
Alaska Cruise with California Gay Adventures
Over 4th of July weekend 2023, a crew of adventurous gay men from California Gay Adventures set off on an epic journey to Alaska — cruising through glacier-carved coastlines and forested ports aboard Royal Caribbean’s Ovation of the Seas. Hosted by Chris Smith, this unforgettable trip brought together community, connection, and jaw-dropping scenery at every turn.
The voyage began in Seattle, with time to explore the city’s iconic sights before sailing north into the heart of Alaska’s wilderness. In Sitka, we hiked through coastal trails and visited rescued bald eagles at the Raptor Center. Skagway treated us to a scenic ride on the White Pass Railway and an exhilarating Klondike bike tour, while Juneau delivered unforgettable whale sightings on the open sea.
We wrapped up with a serene stop at Victoria’s Butchart Gardens — and plenty of onboard fun including themed nights like CGA Onesie Night and Big Hair Night that brought laughter, sparkle, and serious style.
This wasn’t just a vacation — it was a celebration of pride, friendship, and the raw beauty of the Last Frontier.
